SC Palmetto/SC Home, 2 5/8″ Glass Ball Ornament

The Palmetto State- the SC palmetto and crescent moon.  Don’t all South Carolinians adore the state symbol?  Not only is it beautiful on our flag, it is also rooted in South Carolina’s Revolutionary War history.  The first ornaments I ever painted were of the SC Palmetto.   This version features a two sided design, painted in white acrylic paint on a 2 5/8″ royal blue glass ball  with the stenciled outline of South Carolina, with “home” hand painted in a calligraphic style.  The SC Palmetto/ crescent moon is painted on the other side.  All the way around, it is a beautiful presentation of the state we are blessed enough to call our home state. What a great gift for a friend, colleague or neighbor who just moved to South Carolina.  What a great holiday hostess gift this would be. Teacher gift…the possibilities go on and on. Hand-painted glass ornaments make a treasured gift, and this one is sure to please.   I strive for consistency, but due to the hand-painted nature of this ornament, slight variations will exist.  All my ornaments are proudly manufactured in the USA
